In August last year, Pakistan banned the release of Phantom on a plea filed by JuD chief and Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed alleging that the film, set on post-26/11 attacks, contains “filthy propaganda” against him and his outfit.
Similarly, Ek Tha Tiger was also banned upon its release in 2012.
