Trade analysts have said that the film will earn Rs. 150 crore before entering the weekdays run at the domestic Box Office.
Trade expert Girish Johar said, “Sultan is a tsunami waiting to hit the Box Office; I can already feel it. The lull before the storm is already there now, what with the present days seeing the lowest turnover in the recent days.
Distributor Ramesh Sippy said that it would not be a surprise if the film crosses Rs. 140 crore. If that happens, then “Sultan” will beat all the box office records set in 2016 by Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift,” “Housefull 3” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Fan.”
Exhibitor and distributor Akshaye Rathi said, “The cinemas have no other significant film to play and almost all the shows across multiplexes as well as single screens shall be given toSultan.
