Shah Rukh Khan’s detention proves racial discrimination is still alive in the US

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest star in the Bollywood film industry and as per estimate he is worth £465m has been stopped at the Los Angeles Airport in the US.

This has raised a debate that racial discrimination against the brown people os still alive in the US.

There was no explanation from US Customs and Border Protection as to why Shah Rukh Khan should be stopped at the Los Angeles International Aiport and this happened for the third time.

Shah Rukh Khan took to twitter and wrote, “I fully understand and respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks.”

To which the US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma replied to his tweet instantly, “Sorry for the trouble at LAX @iamsrk. We are working to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Your work inspires millions, including in the US.”

Shah Rukh Khan gone through a painful experience at the US Immigration for the third time and its also very disgusting to note that apart from Shah Rukh Khan, many other Bollywood biggies also face the same situation when they travel to US.
