Pakistan dropped the Kisses of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Rustom’ Cuts-Free


Bollywood two biggies, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Rustom’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ are going to release this friday.

In a sensitive decision taken by the Pakistan Censor Board, the kissing scenes between Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in Mohenjo Daro are dropped but Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ will be released Cuts-Free.

Pointing to director Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’, Pakistan CBFC chairman Mobashir Hasan said to Express Tribune, “There is only some minor cutting of some kissing scenes. Apart from that, it was good to go.”

As ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is a Historical Epic movie, so the Pakistan Censor Board calls the co-optional members too.

Regarding this Mobashir Hasan added, “We brought in Syed Waqar Ali Shah, who is the chairperson of the history department at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, along with Mashood Mirza from the department of archaeology and museums. We, along with the panel, did not have any objections towards the film and it’s ready to hit the screens.”

Apart from that the Board gave green signal to Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ sans any cut.
