Bollywood singer Neha Bhasin who has recently sung the female version of Jag Ghoomiya, said that even before the release of this song is facing music the brunt as Salman Khan and Arijit Singh‘s issue has been blown out of proportion.
In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times she said, “I feel that, unfortunately, people are focusing on the wrong thing. It makes me feel very bad. This whole incident (Salman-Arijit stand off) is personally between the two people. Although Arijit wrote a public apology, probably he was hurt and he wanted to say something, it doesn’t mean we should make a big deal about it.”
“We are not focusing on the song, we are in fact killing a good song because everybody wants to feed on someone’s weakness and I find that sad,” she added.
Talking about the song Jag Ghoomiya she said, “I’m very happy with the way people are talking about the version I have sung. I think, Vishal -Shekhar (music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani) wanted the sound to be like a folk song, something very close to the earth and they love what I have done in the folk genre for my Youtube page, too.”
