Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN took a slower start on Sunday as compared to compared to the occupancy in the morning shows on Friday. This in average normal for a film of SRK in the lead role as the audiences wish to see the first day first show. The average occupancy on Saturday was 15-20 % lower on Friday as compared to Saturday in the multiplexes.
FAN will also be competing with the ‘The Jungle Book’ which is on a phenomenal record-breaking run at the Indian box office. The film has already collected Rs 83 crore in 8 days and should cross the 100 crore mark by the end of its second weekend.
For FAN, business in the multiplexes has become more important as it is the primary source of more income. The reports that are coming from the smaller cities arn’t that much satisfying either. So the fate of the film is dependent on a good hold on Saturday and big growth on Sunday. More days to go hope for the best. Stay tuned to get more latest updates.
