The original stage adaptation of Singin’ opened on Broadway in 1983 and ran for about a year.
The Weinstein party also included a performance by Zendaya of a song from the current Weinstein-backed Broadway musical Finding Neverland.
The guest list for the fancy fete included Jared Leto, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Matthew Morrison, Christoph Waltz, Nick Jonas, Bryan Cranston, Naomi Campbell, designer Zac Posen, Colin Firth, Ashley Tisdale, Carol director Todd Haynes and Andie MacDowell.
Lady Gaga arrived at the tail end of the bash, arriving to the Montage after rehearsing her performance of “It Can Happen To You” for the Oscars at the Dolby Theatre. Kerry Washington was also a late arrival.
