Alia Bhatt is hopefull something good will come out of ‘Udta Punjab’ Issue

Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt is hopefull that some solution will surely come out of ‘Udta Punjab’ which failed to get Censor Board approval due to portrayal of excessive swearing and drug consumption.

This film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, earlier producer Anurag Kashyap had said the things are in process, and hence the film is far from being “banned”.

During a special interview with the reporters Alia Bhatt said, “All I want to say is Anurag Kashyap put out a tweet of all the information that is true and that is related to the topic right now.

There was nothing mentioned about the cuts (in the tweet), it was just that the film has moved on to the revising committee and the due process is on.”

She added more, “Apart from that, it will be wrong for me to say anything because this is actually what has happened. Let’s wait and watch, hopefully everyone will be happy.”

When the reporters asked her some more questions she said she will answer all the questions very soon. However the film is slated to release on June 17.
